Your Zag Bank Profile
At Zag, we work hard to make everything about your banking experience easy, including updating your address. Just follow these simple steps and you’re done.
- Log into Zag Online banking
- Click on the ‘Settings’ tab in the upper right corner of the main page
- Click on ‘Change Address/Telephone Number’ and/or ‘Change Email Address’
- Make your changes and click ‘Update’
If you forget your password, you can easily reset it yourself: click ‘Login’ at zagbank.ca then ‘Forgot Your Password?’ Or, open Zag Mobile and click ‘Forgot your password?’ on the log in page. Next, enter your user ID and your Date of Birth and select ‘Next’. Once you ANSWER your security questions, simply follow the prompts to create your new password.
If you forget your user ID, you could check the email we sent you when you first opened your account with Zag (if you keep your emails). If not, please call 1-844-Zag-Bank (1-844-924-2265) and one of our Client Services Advisors will be happy to help you.
Congratulations – we wish you nothing but happiness! While we wish we could do it for you with a simple phone call, for this you’ll need to make your request in writing. We’ll also need to see an official document (e.g. a marriage or name change certificate, or record of marriage with a pre-printed license number), showing your new name. (Sorry about that.) Anyway, all you need to do is scan your document and your note asking us to change the name on your account and email them to email@example.com.

We hate to say goodbye. But it happens. You can close your Zag Savings, Zag Tax-Free Savings and Zag RRSP Savings accounts at any time by calling 1-844-Zag-Bank (1-844-924-2265). Same goes for your Zag GIC, Zag Tax-Free GIC and Zag RRSP GIC once the GIC matures. You can also submit your request through Zag’s secure messaging centre by logging into Zag Online.
Once your account is closed, information such as your account history and transactions will no longer be available in Zag Online and Zag Mobile banking. We will mail your tax forms (if applicable) for your closed account during the first three (3) months of the next year. So, if you change your mailing address after you close your account, please get in touch with us at 1-844-Zag-Bank (1-844-924-2265) to let us know.
